The Business Outreach Center (BOC) Network Presents The New York State MWBE Business Growth Accelerator
A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY FIRMS IN THE MID-HUDSON REGION OF NEW YORK STATEWestchester, Rockland, Ulster, Dutchess, Sullivan, Orange, and Putnam CountiesBOC MWBE Business Growth Accelerator (BGA) Program is designed to support the growth and sustainability of certified MWBE firms in the construction industry and their increased access to contract opportunities. The BGA Program will provide the tools, networks, and resources through both in-person and virtual business development assistance. The BGA Program is sponsored by NYS Division of Minority and Women’s Business Development and is offered free-of-charge to eligible firms.
Eligibility Criteria
Must be a construction service and/or construction consulting firm
Be a currently certified NYS MBE, WBE or MWBE
Must be in business for at least two (2) years
Must have at least two employees
Demonstrate annual revenues between $500,000 and $5 million during the most recent year
Business located in the Mid-Hudson region

Applicant Interviews: February 1, 2023 - February 15, 2023
Management training begins February 27, 2023
The cohort will be divided into two (2) tiers (construction services and construction consulting firms) based on firms’ construction project experience and business size. Participants will benefit from 30 hours of virtual and/or hybrid training customized to their needs.
Networking Events with agencies and partners: Spring and Fall 2023
Individualized business mentoring and technical assistance with business and industry experts
Business Development Training
Training will begin at the end of February 2023 and end in June 2023.Training topics include but are not limited to:

Marketing, Advertising, and Branding
Scaling and Market Growth
Project Management and Human Resources Management
